Almost 2-hundred Indigenous women from all over the Yukon and beyond... met over the weekend at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre. The Bead, Hide and Fur Symposium was the chance for artists to exchange fashion traditions, skills and techniques. The CBC's Virginie Ann was invited in and spoke with Joella Hogan, an executive board member of the Yukon First Nations Cultural and Tourism Association and Natasha Peter, one of the territory's fashion designers.
